We received the picture books box for a review.  I will be giving these books to a friend of mine with a little one that will be turning one soon.  Perfect for repetitive reading!

The books come beautifully wrapped.  I was so surprised when I opened the box and found two books ready to be given as gifts, instead of just placed in the box with some filling.  And we're not talking cheap paper either.  One was a vinyl wrapping paper. This in of itself speaks volumes.  I love any company that takes that little extra effort to make things special.

Also included was an information card with a description of each book, and a referral card.

The two books we received are Bernice Gets Carried Away by Hannah E. Harrison, and Night Knight by Owen Davey.

Bernice Gets Carried Away is a "really cute book", to quote my teen daughter.

It's a whimsical story about a kitten who'd having a bad day, but finds a way to turn it around and enjoy a birthday party with her friends.

The book is a nice picture book that I think any small child would enjoy.

Night Knight is a true picture book.  Each page tells the story through the pictures with only a few words that make the book one entire sentence long.

In the story, a little knight takes a journey through his nightly preparations before bedtime.   It makes the bedtime ritual more fun and exciting for a child.

Both books would make a great addition to any child's library.  They are quality books.  And the way they are beautifully giftwrapped, they make perfect gifts.

You can choose Board Books or Picture Books. Boxes with picture books come with 2 hardcover books. Boxes with board books come with 3 books. Board books are more durable and safer for younger children (approximately ages 0-2.5), and let's be honest, picture books are basically loved by all ages (but geared towards children ~2.5-6).

You have the option of signing up for a 1-month, 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month subscription.
