Rainbow Honey Mini December 2015 Mystery Bag Review

This is my second Rainbow Honey subscription 'box'. It's not really a box, per say. The items come in this cute little muslin bag, carefully protected with bubblewrap which is delivered in an envelope. We'll call it a subscription bag.

2 full-size nail polishes

I have mixed feelings about Rainbow Honey. While I love their little mini mystery bags each month, their polishes seem to be mostly glitter or shimmer. So far I like the scents of their bath products, & colors of their polish.

They have 5 different monthly subscription bags. They have a full-size Mystery bag for $25, the mini (which I get) for $12.95, a large 'Just Nails' and 'Just Body' for $16 each, and a 'Just Soap' for $15. I purchased a 6-month sub which included an extra month free!

Soap. Mmmm... Smells good!

I mainly ordered this because all my polish is old, cheap, and I need new. I decided on Rainbow Honey because  their polishes are 'Big 3-Free" (formaldehyde, toluene and dibutyl phthalate [DBP]).

This month included:
15ml bottle of Smokey Creme Nail Lacquer
15ml bottle of Majestic Bluewhale Nail Lacquer
4ml Pomegranate Mojito Perfume Rollerball
.25oz Organic Shea & Cocoa Butter Skin Treatment
.5oz of Latte Latte Premium Cake Soap.

I like the formula of the polishes. Smooth & lasts a good amount of time before chipping. And I am rough on my nails. Living on a homestead I do a lot of manual labor & polish doesn't last very long on my nails. But this seems to do well.

The Latte Love soap are small, but smell really good. Can't wait to lather up with one.

The Pomegranate Mojito Rollerball is perfect for me because I don't do mainstream perfumes. They are too strong, and give me a headache when I even walk past someone who's wearing some. So it's a no-go for me. But these types I like.

Dry skin treatment? Yes, please! Living in the dry acrid  climate of east Colorado, I am constantly looking for something to help my skin.

These are all samples in the mini bag. What I like about the mini bag is I get to try products without forking out an arm & a leg, and if I like the product, I can go to their site & purchase the full size.
 
My daughter & I both like to dig into this subscription bag when it arrives. The colors & scents are fun! I'm not sure if I'll continue at the end of my subscription. But it's a good subscription if you like new polishes & a few beauty/bath products delivered to your door every month!
