These shooting ear muffs fold up when not in use to take up less space in your bag. It doesn't make a huge difference, but it's some. They have a comfortable fit, although they feel like they squeeze my head a bit. The headband is comfortable, and fully adjustable. It's got little notches that slide to adjust it. They fit my daughter, me, and my husband. The earmuffs are padded, and don't slide around. It gives a secure fit. The foam inside the earmuff isn't covered, but it's far enough inside that it doesn't touch your ear.

I like these for ear protection a whole lot better than foam ear plugs. A good inexpensive choice to protect your ears while shooting, or during other noisy situations such as using a table saw, or shopvac.

Hearing protection is basically a must if you are hunter, sport shooter, working in law-enforcement, armed forces or doing anything that involves guns.

Noise levels above 125 dB for even a short single gunshot can cause immediate hearing damage.
It doesn't matter whether you're shooting indoors or out, whether you're firing one shot while out hunting you need to protect your hearing.
