I've always like to color. It's relaxing. But the coloring books that have been on the market have always been for kids. Big & clunky pictures on cheap newsprint.  Until recently.  Adult coloring books have been all the craze lately, and there are now so many better book to choose from.  This makes me happy.

With most of these more modern 'adult' books, you can use pencils, gel pens, and even fine markers. You could never do that with the kid's books!

This coloring book is an 8x8 glue-bound 'book'.  It's not your standard book, but pages that can be easily removed, and not in a bounded cover.  I really like this style a lot better than standard books. It is so much easier to color this way.  It has a cardboard flap that you can put under the sheet you are coloring if you'd rather keep the pages in the book.  Although the pages are a bit smaller than a regular coloring book, there is more of them, which in my opinion makes it better.

The pages themselves have very nice designs. Not too complicated, and not too simple.  They aren't of birds, or horses, or dogs. They are just patterns.  This is the type I prefer.  I don't like having to follow a coloring scheme. I just randomly pick colors & go.  This works well with my short attention span.

This collection of books come with a matching CD.  It is a tranquil, relaxing playlist.  The music is instrumental and calming.  I think this is a neat concept.  I mean you color to relax.  Add some music to your 20 minutes of adult coloring break.
