There's a few different types of mouse traps out there. I usually use the metal ones, but they scare me to set. I know, I'm silly. But if you've ever gotten your finger snapped in one, you'll understand. No one likes mice. And no matter what you do, they are around. Especially out here in the country. Mice carry diseases & ruin your belongings. I don't like them. I threw away a mouse this morning. Yay!

I liked these. I don't think I'll go back to the cheap metal ones now. I didn't have much confidence when I took them out of the package, being made of plastic. But they were really easy to set, and they work. Snap. It takes a bit of weight on the lever to get it to release, so a crafty little fella might be able to get away with the bait. But for the most part, I have confidence in these. These have a wide platform. I haven't had these long enough to know the kill rate, or whether they last. But the fact that they are reusable, I only have to get a few snaps out of them to end up being the same cost as the disposable metal ones. They are easy to open & remove the mouse. And I don't have to worry about touching a mouse. I would buy more of these.
