This is such a fun & practical kitchen gadget!

The 3-in-1 Avocado Slicer and Storage Unit. Slice, Peel, and Pit Avocado + Easily Store Leftovers, Green (2 piece combo) makes opening an avocado a breeze. The slicer sliced right through the skin with no problem. It's plastic, and not sharp like a knife. I would totally let my daughter use it. The pit remover worked like a charm. Got that pit right out without having to dig it out or use a blade. Now, the slicer part.... I couldn't get it to slice my avocado for nothing. I ended up making a mushy mess. No matter which direction I tried, it just wouldn't go through the fruit. This saddened me.

The storage container is kitchy. I like it, and I'm glad it came with the tool. It looks like an avocado, so you know what's in there when it's in your fridge. Now I have tomato, onion, and avocado shaped containers in my fridge. Hehe. No yucky plastic ziptop bags.
