I was able to spot [way too much] cat pee on my carpet left from the previous owners. Disgusting. But great. We had some fun with it, looking at all the interesting things that glow under UV light. The inclusion of the pen is cool. I can't wait to use it on Halloween.

The light takes a AA battery. It say anywhere what type of battery it takes. There was no instructions included with the light.

The light zooms. UV light can be used for many things such as detecting counterfeit currency, and highlighting stains. It's small enough to be portable, and includes a pouch for storage.

This is a nice UV light. Bright & it works.

For pet lovers, I think the biggest challenge would be finding pet urine, stain and odor left by your beloved pets, especially when you have been away from home for a long period of time. Yeah we wish we can spot the stain by smelling, but we are anyway not a dog.

Ways out
Believe it or not, MLVOC is the most effective helper that can help you easily get these solved, no matter finding the dried urine or invisible stains. Therefore what you need to do is to turn out the MLVOC flashlight and shine on the ground slowly, which will even be better if you use it at night with all light off.
