When I tried this on my Basset Hound, I think the words I used were, "Holy Crap". I had no idea she had that much underfur that needed to be removed. This looks like a medieval torture device, but it works, and she was enjoying it.

This pulled out so much fur in just a couple minutes. She was wagging her tail, so I'm guessing it felt good. Though I did accidentally tilt it while combing & she yelped. The teeth are easy to clean, though a lot of fur just flew off of her instead of embedding in the comb. The handle is comfortable to hold.

This dematting comb is easy to use, and works well.
