I really like the AVANTEK Wireless Remote Control Timing Function Outlet Multifunctional Socket for Home Appliances.

It's got a display screen & a battery so that when it's unplugged or the power goes out it keeps your time & programs. You can set up to 20 programs. It has a timer, a randomizer, and a countdown. You also can use it to just turn off & on appliances which are far away or hard to reach. And the unit comes with simple to read instructions. Yay for included instructions! It's like a watch, you have to scroll a lot to set it up, but it's simple enough. The remote comes with a mount so you can always find the it. The timer & remote work very well, and I am very happy with this product.

This unit does everything. Now I just need more outlets to go with the remote. Although, it would be really nice if it had 1 or 2 more outlets on it with separate functions for each.

To pair the outlet with the remote control, press and hold the ON/Off button and Right button on the receiver simultaneously until the icon "" appears on the screen. Press ON/OFF button 1 on the remote control to turn your appliance on / off. Receiver will pair up with ON/OFF button 1. It pairs with ON/OFF button 2 if you use ON/OFF button 2 to turn your appliance on / off.
To turn on / off outlet, you can press ON / OFF button on the receiver or use the remote control transmitter.
