I love the concept of these patches. Not only aren't you soaking your self in harmful chemicals, they don't even have to touch your skin, clothing will do. This review is for the Mosquito Repellent Patch Infused With All Natural Lemon Eucalyptus and Essential Oils - DEET Free Non Toxic - For Kids and Adults.

Twelve patches come in this package... 2 blocks of 6. They are easy to apply. You tear a patch from the block (or two as the package recommends), scratch it to activate the essential oils, and then adhere it to your clothing or skin. The smell is strong, but it's not bad. It's essential oils. As long as you like the smell of the oils, you're good. The package doesn't say which essential oils it is soaked with, however. It states it is good for 6-8 hours & safe for pregnant women.

As for the effectiveness. Well, we are still in our heavy rain season here, and the mosquitoes have just started to emerge. I haven't had any problems yet. However, we'll see how these baby's work when it's peak mosquito season. I have tried essential oils in the past for mosquitoes during late June & they didn't work too well. However, I probably didn't use enough since I was applying it directly to my skin (I tried it on my clothes & it stained. Oops). That's why I like the idea of these patches so much!
