These aren't half bad!

My husband is in the Army, and when I ran across these, he wanted them to show his unit & try them. The [[ASIN:B01FPLP1QQ 72H RUSSIAN ARMY ORIGINAL EMERGENCY FOOD SET OF 3 RATIONS SURVIVAL MILITARY FOOD BARS 2400Kcal (3 days)]] come vacuum sealed in a 1-day ration. Three rations in the order.

Now, after reading the package, I do not believe these are Russian MRE's. It talks about not drinking sea water. I'm thinking they are lifeboat rations or something of the sort. One side of the package is in Russian. The other, English.

All the soldiers at hubby's unit agreed that they tasted pretty good. Like a dry cookie. My son & his friend (teenagers) said the same thing. They must have liked it, they each finished a bar! They contain only a few simple ingredients, and give you just enough calories to survive. Not extra energy.

These would be great in your car winter survival kit, in your bug-out bag, or in your hiking pack. I think they're a great addition to those who collect for survival preparedness.
