This can opener is really nice.

The  ONME Can Opener, Restaurant Manual Can Jar Opener, Good Grips Smooth Edge Can Opener, Stainless Steel Ergonomic Anti Slip Can Opener (Black) Sharp Easy Turn Design with Good Soft Grips Handle is a bit different & took me a minute to figure out. It slices the can from the side instead of inside the lip. It crimps the edge & makes a smooth cut. It is specially designed in a way that the cutting wheel doesn't touch the food, eliminating the transfer of bacteria. Turning of the handle was the same as any other can opener in terms of pressure needed, but, it cut so smoothly. I liked the padded handle & crank.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because I got a tiny metal splinter in my thumb from opening a can. It was from the lid I removed, and not the edge of the can. It was from the crimping. The edge of the can was smooth. But, even still, I like this can opener. Hoping it was because of the type of can & was a fluke.
