I'm sorry, I just don't like these. The Apex Life Premium 4-Piece Long-Handled Gardening Tool Set Durable, Heavy Duty Aluminum Alloy (hand trowel, transplanter, cultivator & pruning shears) Great Gardening Gifts is a good starter set perhaps, but it's not for any serious gardener.

The chrome coating on the tools look shiny and nice, but at the same time make them look non-professional. They are made from aluminum alloy which makes them very light. Even with arthritis in my right hand, I find these too light. but the grips are comfortable.

What made me choose 3 stars instead of 4, was that the shears wouldn't cut anything but the thinnest twig, and they hurt my hands trying. They aren't sharp at all. When I did finally get something it would cut, they would lock after every cut I made, & I'd have to unlock them each time. Frustrating. The cushioning of these is nice, however. I must say that. A lot better than some other gardening tools I've used, and I like the yellow color.

I'm just not impressed with these. They might be good as a gift for someone who dabbles occasionally.
