This light is absolutely awesome! It's magnetic, it's solar, and it's waterproof.

The Bright Outdoors Solar Magnetic Work Light - White, 10 LED. Waterproof and Portable. Ideal Camping Lantern, Working Light, Back up Lamp worked right out of the box. It comes partially charged. But when putting it out in the sun it charges pretty fast. The light is super thin. I wouldn't expect so much brightness from such a little light.

The light is covered in plastic to make it waterproof. It's really gaudy looking, but it works. I'm afraid of the plastic getting damaged though, and letting water in. It's not the best waterproofing way. On the back of the light is the power button, the magnets, a 'hook', and a battery display. My favorite is the battery display. I love knowing how much charge the unit has left! It has 3 modes: Bright, really bright, and strobe. The hook is part of the plastic. You can attach a caribiner to it, and hang it in your tent. It's got 2 magnets, and they're pretty darn strong. The light doesn't slide when placed vertically. This is light & very portable. You can easily carry this in your hiking pack or camping gear. Or, keep it in your car for an emergency light.

Overall, a great light you can take anywhere. The waterproofing method is my only concern.
