This is a great unit. The Easy@Home Areta Fingertip Pulse Oximeter with Luxury Dual-color OLED Display in 4 Directions and 8 Modes and Built-In Alarm seems to be on par to the one at my doctor's office, and our pulse taken manually.

My husband's an Army medic & an EMT. He's wanted one of these for home use for quite a while. Not only for our emergency bug-in-bag, but for running & exercising. That being said, this is not a medical device. But is for athletes, aviation use, & for high-altitudes . Being too lazy to manually check your pulse, this is great. Plus, exercising in Colorado, knowing your SpO2 level is important. The unit shows the numerical and graphic results in 4 directions and 8 modes. Easy-to-read from any angle. Plus has a dual-color display.

My husband has been stressed lately, and when first we tested the unit, it read his pulse really high. He thought it wasn't working.
