Whenever I 'fall of the wagon' for my healthy eating & fitness each winter, it always takes a new gadget to get me inspired. I decided to try the Easy@Home Deluxe Bluetooth Digital Weight and BMI Smart Scale with App for iOS and Android devices and with iOS Health App Support and Stylish LED display, EBW-102.

I really, really wanted to love this scale. I love the concept. It's a great idea. However, in functionality... Right now it's just 'Meh'. Does it live up to it's description? Mostly. I had a really hard time pairing the scale with my phone. It doesn't pair in the normal sense. It 'connects'. Each time I use the scale, I have to open the Bluetooth on my phone, make my phone visible (which it only does for 60 sec at a time, make sure the scale app is open (which you have to download & put on your phone), stand on the scale (there is no tapping to turn it on), wait for it to connect, and then it will read your weight. It doesn't stay paired, so you have to connect the scale to your phone like this each time. It's just too much hassle for me.

Other than that, it's neat how it tracks your weight on the app. It's a simple interface with no bells & whistles. The app doesn't connect to MyFitnessPal, FitBit, or any other fitness apps, though. The weight is reading half a pound more than my usual scale. I don't know, I'm still up in the air about this scale. I like it, but it really needs some improvements.

Note: In order to accurately measure your weight, make sure to place the scale on a flat and solid surface such as hardwood or ceramic tile flooring. Soft surfaces like carpets and rugs are not advised.

How to download App:
Download Option 1: Search "EasyHomeScale" in Apple App store or Google store and install.
Download Option 2: Scan QR code at the back of scale. There is one code for iOS devices and one for Android devices.

iOS devices : iPhone4S/5/5C/5S/6, iPad 3, iPad Mini or later. NOTE: iPad 1 or iPad 2 and iPhone 4 or lower are not supported!
Android devices: Android 4.3 or later with bluetooth 4.0 or later. Memory Capacity no less than 1G
