Summer's almost here, are you protecting your pet from the harmful rays of the sun?

Just like how we humans use SPF to stay away from skin cancer, our pets can also get the same cancers like basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and even melanoma.

We applied the product to Sheba to see the consistency, and ease of applying.  It's like a lotion cream, and goes on super easy.  She was a little nervous about me rubbing it on her nose at first, because she's not used to me doing that.   We only needed a little bit to cover her entire fur-less area.

Human sunscreen blocks UVA and UVB rays using chemicals, like Zinc Oxide and Titanium Oxide. These are safe for humans but not on pets! The chemicals are toxic and can even be fatal if ingested!

I was so surprised that after rubbing it it, you couldn't even tell it was on.  Unlike zinc oxide, it doesn't leave a white coating.  It's perfectly clear.  And you know the best part, even though I know it's non-toxic, the fact that she didn't even try to lick it off, was great! She was very confused, but otherwise very happy to get the nose-rubbing attention.
