Hammock straps are pretty new to me. We always used rope. Straps are so much better. They don't slide or give you splinters. These are a 1" wide strap. They are long enough to fit your hammock between trees that are thick, thin, close or far apart. They stay up, and don't slide. They are lightweight & roll up compact, and not too heavy to carry in a pack. They seem stitched very thoroughly, and the loops are numerous. These do not come with caribeeners, like some straps. One of my hammocks came with the correct weight capacity ones, so I didn't have to buy any. These come with a bag to carry the straps in, and a cute little handy keychain light. I haven't had these long enough to know how well they last a whole season.

Overall, I think this is a good product, and I like it a lot.
