Occasionally we'd treat our flock with some mealworms when we would find the bags for a good price at the local feed store. But it was few & far between. They are quite expensive in store.

When I saw this 2 Lbs Mr. Cluck's All Natural Dried Mealworms Food for Chickens Birds and Reptiles, I knew I'd have some happy birds!

The cost is excellent. Most of them I've found online cost an average of 1 dollar an ounce, and in store, up to 4 dollars an ounce. Here, you get a huge bag of mealworms for less than that. The birds, of course went nuts. Chickens, ducks, turkeys, they all love mealworms. They will crawl into my lap to get their mealworms! There's even enough that I might give some to the wild birds as well. With over 50 birds of my own, this will still last several snacks.

Economical & the birds love 'em.
