I seriously love this hammock. OK, well my daughter & her friends live it. ;-) This is for the Double Camping Hammocks (which may be out of stock since right now the hammock hanging kit is being shown).

We purchased the blue & black. It is of quick drying, weather & mildew resistant 210T parachute grade nylon. It's soft, comfortable, and big enough for 2. It also includes stretch resistant Poly-Filament Webbed tree straps with stainless steel lashing rings. It's great that you don't have to purchase the straps separately for this hammock. I have to say I didn't use the straps that came with it, I already had a set in the trees. The ends are together with nylon rope attachment point with stainless steel carabineers. It's held tightly with the kids swinging in it. It seems sewn well.

Attached is a 'bag', that it stuffs into when not in use. The directions recommend removing the hammock when not in use to protect it from the elements. I can see that the harsh sun could make the fabric weak. It rolls up nicely into the bag. And since it's attached to the center side, you can use it to place your water bottle while in the hammock. It was so easy to install, and just as quick to take down. I don't knwo the longevity of this hammock, but as long as you use it for it's intended purpose & keep it out of the sun/hail when not in use, I see this lasting quite a while.
