I was introduced to French Press coffee a couple years ago while on a road trip, while staying with an old friend. It tasted good, but I never thought I would own one. I thought it would be too much hassle to use. I like my k-cups. But a few months ago I grabbed a cheap one at my local thrift store & became a coffee snob. My Keurig misses me.

This is a beautiful French Press. The chrome color is really snazzy. The only thing I don't like it is it mirrors my image really clearly. I don't really want to see myself before coffee in the morning. ;-) The style is nice, and the design is pretty. It looks great on the counter. I don't have to hide it in the cupboard. I actually have a sugar bowl that matches the design perfectly. The large capacity is a plus. It holds the hot coffee for long enough to get multiple warm-ups of my cup. I use a coarse to medium ground. I don't like my coffee strong, so I don't use fine ground. Coffee just tastes so much better when you use fresh roasted beans, freshly ground, and brewed right then & there by pressure.

Bye-bye automatic coffee, hello fresh brewed!
