We live in a very forested rural area. I've put up some hammocks in the trees & the kids love them. Unfortunately all I had was rope at the time. It slips. I decided to try these Fnova Widened Hammock Tree Straps Set.

I had never seen, nor used hammock straps before so I didn't know what to expect. These things are awesome! They are really wide, so I'm going to use these for the larger double hammock. I expected them to slip like the rope, but so far I haven't had that problem. Using these, I can place the hammock between two trees where I'm not as limited by the space between them because these are long. They come with two really heavy duty carabiners, so I'm not worried about them not holding the kids. The straps are made out of what looks like seat belt material. It seams very strong. The straps also come with a nifty carrying case for travel if you want to take your hammock & straps on vacation with you.
