We go through a lot of flashlights around here on the homestead. We need them all the time, but are always misplacing them. We've got a bunch of those little cheap $2 LED flashlights, a couple Maglights, and some others in between in performance & value. They're all OK, but I decided to try this BYB Super Bright CREE XML T6 LED Zoomable Handheld Flashlight.

I'll tell you, I've never liked a simple flashlight as much as I like this one. This flashlight came with a lot of extras. Don't misunderstand the product picture though, this is NOT a 4-pack of flashlights, like it has you believe. There are 4 ITEMS included in the box. It comes with the flashlight, a rechargeable battery, the charger for the battery, a sleeve for AAA batteries, and a key-chain flashlight.

The flashlight itself (with included battery) is quite heavy. I like the feel of it. Granted, the battery is the most weight, but it seems sturdy, well made, and not cheap. The battery is easy to remove & install. I like that they give you the added option of using the AAA batteries in the sleeve as a back up. I haven't had a problem with the battery or charger so far. The flashlight is water resistant. It took me a while to get the right 'tapping' for the 5 modes, it seems to be finicky.

The zoom on the light is pretty intense. You can zoom all the way out for a wide angle light, or zoom in to be not quite pinpoint, but very focused. It is a very, very bright light. Probably the brightest flashlight I have. The glass of my zoom lens has a chip in it, but it doesn't take away from the usage of the light. The little key-chain light included is a nice addition to the package. It's bright, and convenient. It's got a solar panel on the back of it.

If I could replace every flashlight in the house, garage, barn, & car with this, I would!
