I'm always on the lookout for a good lunchbox. I've recently tried some to-go like containers of the bento style and I liked those, so I thought I would try a more sturdy version as in this Snug Bento Lunch Box. I have mixed feelings about this box. It does live up to it's description.

This has 5 compartments, one of which has a silicone top that seals so you can put dressing or dip without fear of leaking. You can put a variety of foods into this lunchbox, which is very convenient. The top has a silicone seal which keeps food from spilling from one compartment to another. The lid latches and unlatches easily, and a child could easily do it themselves. It seems to stay closed & the latches haven't come loose.

The box is surprisingly heavy. I wasn't expecting that. I wouldn't want to carry it for a long walk to school. It does seem very sturdy, and I like how the inside comes out for easy washing, so you don't have to try & wash an awkward shaped box. This is not a thermal lunchbox, so if you want to keep your lunch cold, the box needs to go into the fridge, or be packed with an ice pack. I cannot see this keeping foods warm in this, and it is not microwave safe. It's best for veggies & sandwiches, or foods you'll be reheating in another container.

Like I said, I'm still up in the air about this lunchbox. It has a lot of good points to it, and lives up to the description perfectly, but it seems a bit cumbersome for my tastes, I guess.
