We're not TV watchers, but it's nice to have something once in a while. We've had a few antennas over the years, and our recent one (which was an outdoor one) just bit the dust. I saw the Esky 50 Miles Range Ultra-Thin Indoor Digital HDTV Antenna Built-in Signal Amplifier 10ft Cable, and I thought I'd try it.

I really like how thin this antenna is. You can place it behind a picture, behind your TV, or on the window. This concept is new to me, and this is my second antenna that is thin. The last one was a 25 mile, and only picked up 2-3 channels. I live a good 60 miles from the city so I chose the amplified 50 mile one this time, and it was a great choice. The picture is clear, and so many channels come in. It's amazing. I didn't know we had that many broadcast channels.

It was really easy to set up. The amplifier plugs into a USB port, or you can use the outlet adapter that is included, and plug it in with the rest of the electronics. The unit also comes with a stand, so if you don't want to hang it up, you can always have it sitting on a shelf, the mantle, or top of the TV.

I honestly cannot see anything wrong with this antenna so far. The cable is 10ft. That should be plenty for most people. I needed to add extra coax to it only because of our TV's location, but that was no biggie. I had that already. Just plugged it all in, and I was ready to go.
