Barbara Tillison Photography & ArtsSie Designs: What They Do...

Barbara & Sierra are not only artists, they are a mother & daughter team.

Barbara started back in 1990. She mainly does bookcovers and digital art. I've looked through some of Barbara's book covers & they are gorgeous!

Sierra is a college student majoring in art. She does mainly watercolors, but she also has work in anime & pen and pencil.


Barbara & Sierra are located in North Carolina. Not only do they do local work, but they sell their work online.

 Barbara is available for most types of photo shoots.

I was the lucky recipient of Barbara's very first book cover, for my Horror Anthology, Bitter Fruit: A Taste Of The Antholocaust. She produced a beautiful cover that was spot on to my specifications, she also had the work done a lot faster than I anticipated, I will definitely be seeking her out for future projects. Photography for me is more than a profession, it is a deeply rooted passion and philosophy. Over the years while raising my five children I have explored many different creative venues. I always come back to photography. After receiving my degree I opened a studio where I did portraits, weddings and so on. There was also a short time I spent as a newspaper photographer, which has given me a different perspective on things. I enjoy the journalistic approach as well as traditional and the more creative sides of photography. ~ Barbara

When I was just 5 years old I started drawing horses, especially Spirit from the Disney movie "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron". Now I am in my first year of college and majoring in art of course! Currently my work is for sale in restaurants, online and other places. I have even been doing book cover design! ~ Sierra
