Empty Subscription boxes - Don't throw them away!

"What do I do with all the empty subscription boxes?", you ask.

I know this is going to sound strange, but one of my favorite things about subscription boxes, are the empty boxes! They are very sturdy boxes. Some are decorated. All are reusable! I haven't even begun to implement all the ideas for using them.

How do I use them?

In the pantry!

All those protein bars, small to go packages of snacks, granola, energy gels, etc., etc., fit nicely in the boxes. Cleans up the pantry shelves & everything is organized so that I can grab & go easily!

It's not as beautiful as some $15 basket from the container store, but I think they work great.

In the bath!

So many little pouches, samples, travel size items. Where do you put them? Back in the boxes, of course. Only organized.  One for hair products, one for makeup, one for scrubs, one for lotions, one for soaps, need I go on?

Things have a tendency to get lost in the back of cabinets. Having the boxes prevents that, and keeps everything at sight-level so I don't forget about products.

Keep one for all those mismatched funky shaped hair accessories.

Having the same size boxes from the same subscription helps in keeping everything neat.

In drawers!

I like to keep things in drawers so the place doesn't look cluttered, but I like to be able to easily see what I have. The boxes are good for that!

The shallow beauty boxes fit into drawers easily. You can keep everything from trinkets, to phone & tablet cables, to undies in these, in drawers to keep it all organized.

Put one in your nightstand drawer with a few chocolates for that late-night craving.

Keep tweezers & bandaids tucked in one inside a kitchen drawer.

Under the sink!

There are so many items that you just can't find a space for, so it gets shoved under the sink. From cleaning supplies to bags of cotton balls & q-tips. The boxes keep them neat & organized. And you don't have to spend an arm and a leg at Target for plastic bins.

You can even wrap the outside in wrapping paper so everything has a decorative match. It really looks nice!

I like not having to dig out a bunch of stuff to find something shoved in the back. Or worse, not being able to find something, and purchase it again, then find it a month later.

In the gym!

All those packets of pre- and post-workout powders add up. Stack them in boxes, and you can grab one easily.

Or, the same concept can be used for hot chocolate packets, or any type of packets & mixes.

The kitchen!

I use them to store my girl's fresh eggs. One's for chicken, then other holds duck, goose, pheasant & guinea. You don't wash farm eggs until you use them, & refrigerating them is unnecessary, so this works great!

You can also use them for all those little kitchen gadgets.

Or the funny shaped utensils in the drawer!

Dont forget to have a box of tape, paperclips, and pens in that junk drawer no one admits to having in their kitchen.

 The possibilities are endless!

I won't even mention the craft room. Soooo many possibilities there.

So, as you can see, there are plenty of ideas to reuse those subscription boxes. Don't throw them away. They are really great boxes.

If you want to, think of your subscriptions as a pathway & investment into a cleaner, organized home! ;-)
