Nails R Accessories January 2016 Subscription Box Review

This is my second box from Nails R Accessories. I am quite pleased with the product and curation so far. She has an obvious passion for her art.

The Nails R Accessories boxes are somewhat themed. This box is called, "Pearl's Juke Box". In Nov, the box had some fall products, holiday items in the Dec box, and Valentine's items in the upcoming February box. This month has lots of black, gold & silver.

This company is very new. I think they are off to a great start.  Every new subscription box has a few bumps to work out.

Enclosed is an info card that lists all the items inclosed, plus some company info. Although their card is nicely designed and on a nice glossy cardstock, it's very hard to read. It's the purple & black font.

Info card
Included in the January box is:
  • Stamping Plate
  • Wheel Rhinestones
  • Wheel 3D Resin Nail Charms
  • Vial Snowflake Powder
  • Sheet Nail Wraps
  • Jar of Loose Flocking Powder
  • Sheet Nail Vinyl
  • Assortment Music Notes Stud
  • 20oz Jar Hand Scrub
The upgraded box also includes Disco Glitz Indie Polish.

The accessories come in labeled, decorated plastic pouches. I've removed everything for the review & photos.

The stamping plate has trees, flowers, leaves, hearts, etc. I haven't had time to try the stamping products yet, but I'm anxious to. Looks fun.

In your first month's box you receive the stamping tools.

There are 2 wheels included in this box.

The first wheel has gold, black, and silver rhinestones. They are of multiple sizes & shapes. There are quite a few in this container.

The second wheel is of resin charms. These are very thick, colored, sparkly discs. There are 2 of each of 12 colors. I think they are too thick for my tastes. I may pass these on. But, they are beautiful. I'm just too hard on my hands here on the homestead.

Next is a vial of snowflakes powder, a sheet nail wraps, and loose flocking powder.

My vial is orange & white. I don't know if everyone received the same colors, but it is very pretty!

The nail wraps, which also comes with a small emery board, are black, gold & silver to match the rhinestones. I like that.

The container of loose flocking powder is yellow/gold. Honestly, I wish the info card described the items, or gave a link to more information. Because like the stamping kit in the last box, I have absolutely no idea what flocking powder is. I love to learn & try new items, but I don't want to have to go researching. I know, this shows my nail naivety here.

Nail vinyl & candy
The next items in the box is a sheet of vinyl cut into a chevron cut. I only have half-circle ones in my collection, so this is nice change up.

The box also included two candies. Yum. My daughter stole the strawberry, as I took dibs on the peach.

Assortment

Three packages contained an  assortment of designs to top your nails. Music notes, stars, & squares.

All together, there is quite a few here.

Coconut Sugar Hand Scrub

Also included this month is a container of Coconut Sugar Hand Scrub.

It smells sooooooo good. My daughter just kept sniffing it. She said it smelled like grape.

I originally signed up for a 3-month sub using a Black Friday coupon, which made this very inexpensive. I receive the nail accessories only. They also have a box that includes polish. I may upgrade to that one next time. The cost for the boxes are $15 a month for accessories and or $30 for 3 months. That's a $15 savings! So, $10 a month for all this is awesome.

All-in-all, I'm really pleased with this box. Even though I don't get to do my nails like I used to, I still like having the pretties to do them when I get the urge to.

This subscription gives you a great assortment of items to try. As I said, I do wish there was a bit more information for those of us who aren't familiar with all these types of products.

There are not many nail accessory subscription boxes out there. Many have started, and failed. I do hope that Pearline sticks with this because she's going an awesome job at it.
