Savory Harvest Snack Bars Review

Local company! Right here in Colorado.....

Snack Bars. We've all seen them. We've all had them. Nuts & seeds sweetened with honey or other sticky syrup. Sometimes coated in chocolate or 'yogurt' flavoring.

But sometimes you just don't want sweet. You want a snack. In bar form.

That's where Savory Harvest comes in. "Savory"; That is the best way to explain these snack bars.

I have to be honest, it took me a while to try these bars. Only because after years of sweet snack bars, my brain is programmed to expect sweet when eating a bar, and I knew I had to consciously be prepared for, well, not sweet. So it took me a little time. But one afternoon, we finally dived in.

The Hickory Smoked BBQ & Cheddar was the first bar we tried. It has a very strong scent. You can just smell the hickory & spices. You can see all the herbs, spices, nuts, & seeds. We found the taste a little overwhelming.

It contains almonds, pea protein crisps, pumpkin seeds, brown rice crisps, flax seeds, sun-dried tomatoes, carrots, chia, kale, spinach, & red chili flakes, along with tapioca syrup, natural cheese flavor, & spice.

The Parmesan, Tomato & Herb was next. Mr. Snugglebunny ate this one. One minute it was there, the next minute it wasn't. I think he liked it. LOL

A delicious blend of natural cheese, sun dried tomato, and herbs including oregano, thyme, and basil. It includes ingredients like almonds, peppers and sun-dried tomato and are kicked-up with zesty spices and the deliciousness of cheese. Also in the Parmesan, Tomato & Herb bar is spinach, kale, almonds, pumpkin seeds, flax and chia. Superfoods that will satisfy your hunger, your taste buds and your conscience

The final bar we tried was the Sriracha. I have to say, I think this was my favorite. It has a definite kick to it, but doesn't taste overly spicy.

A delicious blend of sun-ripened chili peppers, garlic & vinegar. In a bar. To go. Yes, please! Superfoods like spinach & kale, mixed in with almonds & seeds, with spices and crisps are in this bar.

Overall, if you want a good-for-you snack bar that's savory, not sweet, then Savory Harvest will definitely fit the bill.  You can see the real ingredients. You can also taste the real ingredients.
