MunchPak Mini January 2016 Subscription Box Review

This is our 4th time trying the MunchPak Mini.

The January Mini box came with 5 items.

At the top of the box is a note with info on a chance to win a free MunchPak. It also tells you who stuffed your box.

There is no info card in MunchPak boxes. This is a real fail for me. You can go online & look up the items on their site, but it takes too much bandwidth trying to find them, and wont work for me. I'd prefer some sort of hard-copy in the box.

On the back of the note is social info & the url to buy more of the snacks you like.

Let me start off my review by saying I'm reviewing the subscription box from an honest, normal consumer's opinion. I'm not reviewing the individual products in the box. I review the box so that you can decide if this is something you'd like to subscribe to. As for the products, if a product stands out, good or bad, I will make a separate review for that product/brand.

The first item in the box were a bag of Covered Bridge Kettle Style Potato Chips Smokin' Sweet BBQ Flavor.

My daughter really liked these. She loves BBQ chips, and this was no exception.

Rich and bold old fashioned kettle style potato chips seasoned with the sweet and delicious taste of a real smokin BBQ. They come from Canada.

The sour Taffy in the box my daughter loves!

This is from Annabelle Candy co in Cali. It's Abba-Zaba Blue Wild Berry. It totally turns her mouth blue.

Next comes the Lotte Koala's March. Chocolate Creme filled cookies & Corn potage.

The Lotte cookies are a product of Thailand & distributed from MI.  I've seen these in the store next to Pocky. It's a 1.45oz box.

Koala's
OMGosh, these are so cute. And yummy! Look at this little guy. Each cookie is printed with different animations.

I can't tell you anything about the other item. I can't find it on the MunchPack site, and there are no English words except for "Corn Potage". We've had one like it before, and it tasted like a super-sweet crouton.

The last item is Ola Pola from Poland. It's a large 40g.

It's a Hazelnut chocolate covered wafer. We haven't tasted this one yet. I like chocolate wafers.

I really want to like MunchPak, but the feeling just isn't there. I get them for my daughter when they have an awesome coupon because she loves trying snacks from different countries. But for $10, this just doesn't float my boat. Like I say, honest reviews.

If you want to try them out, Sign up & wait. They'll usually send you a pretty good coupon to get you in. Remember, it is a subscription, so you must cancel if you don't want more that one box. Who knows, you may like it!
