Mylan Epi-Pen Welcome Kit Offer Review

Do you or your child need to carry around an EpiPen? My son does. I have to say, I'm really, really impressed with Mylan.

I signed up for their $0 co-pay (up to $100) card because EpiPen brand is not on my prescription preferred list & costs me over $200 a year. Actually no brand is. Mylan had sent me a newsletter which included a link for a EpiPen carrying case. I figured, "Sure, why the hell not, I'll try". Usually you never hear from companies again after you give them all your pertinent info, let alone actually receive the free item you signed up for.

 Mylan reinstated my hope in mankind. Not only did they send BOTH kids their bags, they sent them quickly via UPS. We received a hearty box with the bag of my color choice (they gave you 4 options), and a plethora of additions. We received a plastic co-pay card instead of just the PDF printout I had originally handed my pharmacist in a pamphlet that explains the EpiPen. The plastic card is nice.

We also received 2 plastic "Emergency Contact Info" cards, 2 "EpiPen Inside" tags, 2 "My Allergy Info" cards, and 2 "I Have Life-Threatening Allergy" tags for each child. They are for your wallet, purse, school nurse, backpack, child's lunchbox, or caregiver.

The bag itself is designed as a small backpack. It's made of nylon & looks well made.

There is plenty of room for an EpiPen twin pack plus a few other things. There's a zippered main pocket which has an inner pocket, an open back pocket, plus a small clip pocket in front. It has a cinch & a carabiner clip to hook to your backpack. Did I say I'm impressed yet?
