Creative Art Box is a delivery of hand picked unique and fun art projects curated around a surprise theme each month. Their goal is to provide new and experienced artists with fun and unique art supplies to test out and get creative with.

Being is a family of artists, I LOVE this box! April's box was Oil Pastels. We are reviewing the Basic box.

Every month they hand-pick an art medium and tools that will have you bouncing with creativity!

April's Basic box included:

• A pack of 12 Multi-Cultural Oil Pastel Color Assortment
• A colorless Oil Pastel
• A 140lb Postcard
• A 200lb Trading Card

The Premium Box would also contain an additional set of Oil Pastels in vibrant colors, along with some extra trading cards to practice on.

The box came with an informational sheet. It describes the project this month and what's in the box. It also includes their social media handles.

Sometimes it's hard to break out of your artistic rut. You don't know what you'll like, or what you'll be good at, so you don't want to go out spending a lot of money on art supplies. Plus, sometimes you just don't know about an artistic medium, or what it entails.

Look at these oil pastels. I have never worked with them before. Never owned any. I've had no reason to go buy them, because I didn't know how to use them. Well thanks to Creative Art Box, they kick-started me on using a new medium!

Not only did they send me a pack of oils, but also some 'paper' to practice on. Plus, I was sent an email with information & links on using them. Perfect!

Although I was the one to try the oils out for the review, my daughter is supper excited to try them. She definitely has art in her blood, but she hasn't found her niche yet. This is perfect for her to try and find the medium that best suits her.

They have two box types to choose from: Basic and Premium.

Basic is $29 per month, and premium is $34 per month which includes an extra art supply. All of their boxes have FREE shipping. They have 1, 3, 6, or 12 month plans available. You can cancel any time, and plans do NOT renew. Boxes are shipped on the 1st of each month.
