Cujo Control Dog Training Collar

This training kit is meant to help train your dog and maintain his performance. There are 3 training tools to choose from: tone, vibrate, or shock. The kit includes one wireless remote, one collar/receiver, two batteries, along with a test light and contact points. I like the test light. This way I don't need to shock myself to see if it's working. ;-)

I've had a training collar before, but it ate through batteries like no tomorrow. It also wasn't effective on my Basset Hound. They are stubborn creatures. I need to train my dogs to stay away from the flock & to stay on the property. The property is 6 acres, and I'm not about to bury that much cable. So, I'm going to try the collar with perimeter flags.

They seem to be reacting to the training & when they seem to want to bolt towards a chicken, just saying 'stop' is working. We obviously need more work, but I'm happy with the results so far & am going to be keeping with it.

I like that this has 3 modes instead of just sound & shock. It also has vibration.

One thing I do not like is the transmitter only goes into battery-saving mode; There is no 'off' switch. I'd hate to put it down, and have the cat step on it, pushing the shock button while my dog was wearing it. It could happen. Really. Cats are like that. But, you get my point.

Great for small, medium, and large dogs. The collar will fit a neck size as small as 10 inches, or as large as 24 inches.  The collar strap is long enough to fit around my Rottie. It also is adjustable enough to get really small. I like that you don't have to worry about getting the right size.
