Zeroy Universal Headrest Touch Screen Tablet Mount Holder

 Purchase on Amazon

I ordered the iPad Car Mount Universal Headrest Touch Screen Tablet Mount Holder for 7 to 10.2 Inch. I have an older car and it doesn't have tablet holders or anything built in. I saw this, and just had to try it. We go on looong road trips across the country, and my daughter watches movies when it's too dark to read. But holding the tablet for hours makes her hands & arms crampy & tired.

I love, love, love this simple to install headrest mount. However it has one major con that makes me a bit nervous to use it. This unit comes in two pieces. The seat clamp and the tablet holder. Both are fine, it's how they go together that's the problem.

This holder fits right on the metal posts of the headrest. The grips adjust to fit most sizes of seats. If your seat is solid, this won't work. The ball in socket head allows 360 degrees rotation of tablet and adjustable tilt to create the best viewing angle of tablet screen. Once it's on the seat, it can twist to most any angle. So if you're tall or short, you should be able to see the screen. Also if you're sitting in the center, between the two front seats as well.

Bracket arms can be adjusted from 4 ¼ inches to 7 ¾ inches height to accommodate most tablets. The holder grips the tablet tight. I tried this with a 7", and a 10". Both worked great. The holder is made of durable ABS plastic that holds up to wear and tear. Rubber interior padding protects tablet from scratches and prevents slipping. I have no fear of it coming off. I do however have fear of the tablet holder coming off of the seat clamp. Everything is so secure except the tablet holder just sits on the clamp with 4 little pegs & no latching mechanism. If you hit the tablet with your knee, or shoulder when getting out, you might knock the tablet off, onto the floor or ground (with the holder still attached).

But overall, this car tablet holder is great.
