Guitar Accessory Reviews

We've reviewed a few guitar accessories, so placing them in one blog post seemed less congesting on the blog. We have reviewed Gsharp® Guitar Strap, and Black Guitar Pick Maker by Goldeg

Gsharp® Guitar Strap Review

This review is on Gsharp® Guitar Strap.

Mr. SnuggleBunny has been trying to learn how to play guitar. The guitar he bought didn't come with a strap, so we were looking to get one.

Gsharp's Guitar Strap features genuine leather ends combined with 100% cotton for maximum strength, comfort and elegant look. The leather is nice, and the stitching is thick. This seems quite sturdy to me. The actual heavy duty braided cotton strap is comfortable, and doesn't cut in.

The Guitar Strap extends up to 60 inches (5 ft) long which is plenty long for my 6' husband.

The design includes the Gsharp Logo embroiled in a metal Guitar Pic. The logo looks nice & doesn't take away from the strap at all.

This Guitar Strap includes a cord in case your guitar is missing a pin for straps. Mine isn't, but it's a nice add-in. The strap stays secure on the pins & doesn't slip. I've had some straps myself that stretch out & slide right off. Not cool. I don't see this happening with the leather at all!

This strap would work well as an acoustic guitar strap, for electric guitar, or even bass guitar.

The strap came with a genuine leather pick holder keychain. It's really a nice little keychain. And handy too! Don't lose anymore picks with this keychain.

Overall, we're really liking this strap. It was definitely a good pick. Pick. See what I did there? ;-)

Black Guitar Pick Maker Review

This is a review on the Black Guitar Pick Maker with 10 Plastic Sheets, and Leather Key Holder.

This is just plain fun! This is a review of the Black Guitar Pick Maker by Goldeg.

Create Your Personalized Guitar Picks, Customized Guitar Plectrums.  This is a compact size Guitar Pick Puncher, and easy to use.  You can make plectrums out of any old card no longer needed. Simply slide the waste sheet/card into the cutter, give it a push and pull, and a DIY guitar plectrum is made
When I read the description, I thought that, yeah, this could come in handy. My husband has been trying to learn guitar & the picks he has are really cheap & thin. And he looses them more than his keys, which is saying something.  The fact that you can use just about any thin plastic to make a guitar pick is really cool.  I made one using an old credit card & it worked great.

The product itself has some heft to it, and is shaped like a stapler (or a paper punch if you are into crafts).  It seems to be made well, and is really tough.  You have to press really hard to 'cut' the plastic & it withstands the power & push for that. None of the hardware has come loose or anything.  The steel head that can cut through materials up to 1mm thick

Like I said, you have to press hard. My daughter wanted to make some picks too, but she wasn't strong enough to push it down. It will smoothly cut the plastic if you do it quickly. If you go slow, it can crack the plastic sheet. This came with 10 plastic sheets for you to make picks with. And then of course you can get plastic from the craft or hardware store & make even more.

It also comes with a cute pick holder keychain. I clipped it onto the guitar strap, so there's always picks available with the guitar. You can stuff about 4 picks into the holder.

I really like this tool. It's well made. I will admit, I had way more fun playing with it than I should have.

Package includes:  1 Guitar pick puncher, 1 Leather key holder, 10 Colorful plastic sheets.

Dimensions: 5" x 2.8" x 1.5"; Weight: 11.99 ounce
