Valentia Skin Care Products

Between age, skin damage from my younger years before knowing any better, and this horrible Colorado climate, I am tired of the condition of my skin. I'm on a mission, and I'm trying a bunch of brands & products to see what I like, and don't like.

The first brand I'm trying is Valentia. I like that their products are natural & organic.

I'm not a fan of 'stuff' on my skin, so not only will this take some getting used to, I'm going to be picky. Also, fragrances bother me. A lot of skin care products are heavily scented, and I don't know why.

The first product is:

Valentia True Glow Eye Cream
This is a corrective eye treatment with vitamin C, astaxanthin, and organic rosehip oil. 1.18 Oz

I have been using this once a day since in the morning I need to wear a sunscreen for when I go for my walk. I don't want anything to react with the sunscreen & make it less effective. This is a thick consistency, but it goes on very thinly. You only need a tiny, tiny bit. The coverage is excellent. The scent is mild and almost immediately disappears. I can feel it on my eye area for about an hour after applying, however it's not bothersome. It's not greasy, or sticky, or anything. I haven't been using it long enough to tell if there is a difference, but I will be updating as time goes by.

The second product in the Valentia line I'm trying is:

Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub

I really like this scrub. You can feel it exfoliating with the jojoba beads. And afterwards my face feels soft & refreshed. The scent seems a bit strong in the container, but is actually not when using. After rinsing, the scent stays with you, but is light and not bothersome. Kind of nice.

The jigglyness of it is kind of weird, but that's the aloe. What I've noticed is after rinsing, there's a thin layer of aloe protection on my skin, and I am liking that. It's not sticky or tight, just there.

The third item from Valentia is:

Yes, I know this is a men's product. But to be honest, not only did I like the ingredients of this (I like apricot scrubs), but I prefer men's scents. Soaps, shampoos, etc. Women's scents are often too flowery and give me headaches.

I think this is a great scrub. The scent is a little reminiscent of Old Spice, but doesn't stay once you rinse it. The apricot exfoliation is excellent, and I love how my skin feels after using it. It's not 'girly' at all, and think would be great for any guy who wants to take care of their skin.
