These ties are great. I'm always using zipties, electrical tape, or twist ties to organize the cord messes. But all of them have huge faults. I mean, look at zip ties. They're great, but permanent. If you want to remove a cord, you have to cut all of them, throw them away, and use new ones. A PITA, and can get costly. The electrical tape looks nice, but yeah, it leaves a sticky residue. Yuk. Twist ties (like on bread or garbage bags) work, are cheap, but it's hard to find long enough ones, and lets face it, they look like crap. These velcro ones fit my style & budget. They're great....but not perfect.

I found the packaging presentation a little underwhelming. I got a bag in my box, and I was like, "what is this?". It was just a slab of black. I think presentation is a big deal when it comes to remembering a product to order again, or recommending to friends. After figuring the slab out, and learning how they went, I have to say they don't tighten as well as they could. Although they secure very, very well. I expected to pull the strap through the hole, and pull back to tighten & velcro close. Nope. You pull it through the hole, and secure it in the same direction. It makes for a loose wrap unless you work at it, holding it with both hands. Also, the little tabs where the holes are aren't punched all the way through. A small inconvenience & no biggie, but it does detract from the efficiency of the product.

All that said, I really do love these ties. A good amount of two different sizes come in the package. Enough to organize many wire messes. They are great, but I think could use a bit of improvement.
