Grapefruit Essential Oil by UpNature Review

I love, love, love the scent of grapefruit. When you open the bottle of this oil, it smells so good! This is a 1oz bottle of oil. It is in an amber bottle with a 'dropper' in the bottle.

Grapefruit essential oil has many uses:
You can mix Grapefruit oil with any cream\lotion or skin\hair product to get more healing properties inside your skin.  It will help treat acne and prevent oily skin. It is also known to help reduce the appearance of cellulite.

I haven't used it as a skin tonic in any of my DIY beauty kits yet, but I'm going to! I do have commercial scrubs, lotions, & sprays that have grapefruit oil in them, and they are my favorite.

You can use it with your diffuser to mix the oil in the air. When inhaled, grapefruit oil can help curb hangovers, headaches, mental fatigue, and depression. It can eliminate unpleasant odors in kitchens and bathrooms.  As one of the most popular oils used in aromatherapy, grapefruit oil can increase your mental focus and give you a natural pick-me-up, and ready to go feeling.

When I got this, I immediately poured a couple drops into my diffuser. It was very weak, so I added more. I ended up adding about 3x the amount into my water than I do with the other essential oils I have to get a slight scent of grapefruit out of the diffuser.

The antiviral and antimicrobial properties of grapefruit essential oil make it a good disinfectant. It not only protects the body from new infections but also eliminates the infections which are already there. I haven't learned how to use it as a disinfectant yet, but since I love the smell, it's on my list.

I think their list price of $50 is a little ridiculous, especially when they're selling it for $11. This is what makes me not trust sellers. Also, remember, this is not a food grade oil, it's therapeutic grade. Use it for your diffuser & lotions, etc.
