CTA Digital Magnetic Wall Mount for iPad & Tablets

We reviewed CTA Digital Magnetic Wall Mount for Tablets up to 10.5.

This thing is cool!

Perfect for filing cabinets, cubicle panels and other flat metal surfaces around the office, CTA Digital’s Magnetic Wall Mount for Tablets is the ideal accessory for your work environment. It has a strong magnetic grip that locks onto any metal surface, and the mount also has a sliding arm that provides additional security for your tablet, cradling it into place while in the holder. Thanks to the addition of four screws with anchors, this mount also gives you the option to secure it onto a wall.

Constructed with a simple sliding mechanism for tablets of 10.5 to 6 inches in length, like the iPad Air 2, the Galaxy Tab S and the Google Nexus 9, this mount provides easy loading and unloading capabilities, perfect for your work’s quick-paced and on-the-go needs. Plus, CTA Digital’s Magnetic Wall Mount for Tablets is designed with a cutout groove at the base of the holder, which offers easy access to your tablet’s Home button, and has soft rubber accents to keep your tablet safe from scuffing.

I put this on my fridge so that I can read stored ebook recipes while cooking. I have only used the magnetic feature and not the screws. But it did come with screws if you wanted to install on a wall, which is a nice addition. I do suggest using some plastic anchors if you are installing in drywall. Those are not included. The instructions gives you measurements for screw placement. You don't see that everyday, and is a nice touch.

As for the magnetic feature, it is strong. I'm very happy with it. I don't have any fear that my tablet will fall. Now, if someone slams the fridge, filing cabinet, or door, it might as the tablet only sits in the holder within the grips. But I don't think that deters from the unit likability at all. When you just are using the magnetic feature, the holder is portable. I can use it in several different rooms, wherever I might need it. It is a great little gadget & I will end up using it a lot.
