Fit Snack January 2016 Subscription Box Review

This is my third Fit Snack box. I like the boxes. They have a nice assortment of healthy snacks for fitness buffs.

Let me start off my review by saying I'm reviewing the subscription box from an honest, normal consumer's opinion. I'm not reviewing the individual products in the box. I review the box so that you can decide if this is something you'd like to subscribe to. As for the products, if a product stands out, good or bad, I will make a separate review for that product/brand.


Fit Snack is $23.90 a month. But that includes $6 shipping. They always include a real nice info card. It describes the product, and gives you a link (and usually coupons) to purchase more should you like the sample.

January included 12 items including a bonus item:

The first items in the box were Miracle Tree Tea & Essential Greens.

I received 2 packets tea. One Mango, & one Strawberry. These teas are organic, and have nice flavors. It is a superbrand food of herbal teas.

Genisis Today Essential Greens is a dietary supplement in drink mix form. It contains flax seed & spirulina. You mix it with 6-8oz water, or beverage of your choice. There is a huge list of fruits &   veggies  included. This packet is one serving.

Next comes Mini Apricots & Chewy fruit snack.

The organic Turkish mini apricots are from Fruit Bliss. There is no sugar added, and they are unsulfered.  It's just
dried apricots & water.

The Veggie Go's is a chewy fruit & veggie snack. Organic sweet potatoes, apple slices, some citric acid, & that's it. This snack is only 20 calories, and contains 2g sugar.

I received 2 packets Genisis Today Garcinia Cambogia. One Gogi, and one Acai Blueberry. You mix a packet with 8oz water before a meal for weight management support. If you already take GC, drink this instead of one of your 'doses' for the day. A nice hydrating substitution.

The Good Day Chocolate with Calm is interesting. I'm used to getting energy candy. These are for relieving tension. Nice! They are made with real milk chocolate. There are 2 servings in the box. It contains chamomile & oat straw powder. These are made in the USA.

Cliff & Morning Sunshine Kitchen

The Cliff bar is Hot Chocolate flavored. I have to say I've had quite a few Cliff bars (not my favorite), but never hot chocolate. It's a seasonal flavor & looking forward to trying it. This is a large 2.40 oz bar with 10g protein, 22g sugar, & 250 calories. It's made with many organic ingredients, plus vitamins & minerals.

The healthy cookie is sitting right here by my computer waiting to be eaten. It's apple cinnamon quinoa & a ginormous 2.75 ounces. It is 6g protein, 3g fiber, & 245 calories. It contains ingredients such as organic rice flour, quinoa flour, gluten free oats, organic apples, and flax seed.

The last item is NutriBlade Beverage is a premium wheatgrass beverage. It contains 13 vitamins, 12 minerals, and 20 amino acids. It's equivalent to 5 wheatgrass shots & has more nutrition than 2 pounds garden vegetables. It's non-GMO, vegan, dairy, nut & soy free, with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. The 12oz bottle is only 100 calories!

This month also included a bonus product! Green Guru Energizer. This is a full-size bottle of 90 tablets! 3 tablets is a serving. This is a pre-workout herbal energy supplement that doesn't give you the jitters.

Also included in the box was a coupon for Fruit Bliss (the apricots) & a recipe for Creamy Broccoli Soup on an ad for Prep Dish.

On the back of the info card is always a monthly workout.

I am really happy with Fit Snack. It's one of my favorite boxes. It contains not only healthy snacks, but energy products & pre- & post workout supplements as well.

I've had to contact FitSnack customer service, and let me just say that I was really impressed on how they handled my inquiry!
