Target Renewal Beauty Box January 2016 Review

Target Beauty boxes aren't a subscription. They pop up on the site every month or two out of the blue. You have to grab one before they sell out. Sometimes they have one. Sometimes they have one for men, and one for women, sometimes they have more than one theme. The costs vary. I've seen them for $5, $7, and $10. Either way they sell out within hours, so you gotta get one quick! They are only sold online. This one cost $7.

Each black box comes with the standard pretty tissue paper and info card. Their info card this month had a coupon for $3 off any $15 beauty prurchase that can be used in store or online. I read that you can use them to purchase the next beauty box. I'm gonna try that next time!

We gotta be real here, I mean for $7, this is a lot of stuff. Well, less than $7, I got 5% off using my redcard. ;-) And the shipping is free! These boxes are great. Even if you don't end up using everything, you get your money's worth.

Attitude

You get two samples of Attitude brand. One is a shampoo, the other a 2-in-1 shampoo/body wash. They are vegan & cruelty-free.

The next item in the box is an anti-aging facial mask. I'm not going to admit I'm old enough to need this, but..... Yeah. It will get used.

I had to laugh at the pictures on the directions. I know, I'm immature.

The Jeregen's Wet Skin Moisturizer is the one you put on after our shower, but before you dry off to help wit trapping the water at your skin. I'll try this my next shower. It's a 2oz size.

The Caress Love Forever body wash is 1.8oz and smells.....like shampoo. My daughter grabbed it, hoping for a pretty scent, but was immediately put off by it. It states, "touch-activated technology that releases a burst of perfume every time you touch your skin," Odd. However, it will probably get used around here....eventually.

Degree

Also in the box is a spray-on deodorant/antiperspirant by Degree. This contains aluminum. I don't like sprays, nor the cloud you're engulfed in when using it. I won't be using this, but passing it on. It is a full-size can.

Mascara

Revlon Ultimate All-In-One Mascara was one of the make-up items in this box. It's full-size and worth more then the cost of the box!

The other makeup item is Laneige foundation. The sample came with three different skin tones & a buff. The foundation is broad-spectrum SPF 50+.

The last item in the box is a "no-slip grip" headband. It's made of a nice soft fabric, and will be perfect for working out.

The total value of this box is about $35. Even though I wont use the makeup or deodorant, for $7, I'll take it!

I always look forward to when these boxes go up on the website for sale.
