StrideBox January 2016 Subscription Box Review

I've been receiving Stride Box since September. It is actually the first subscription box I ever signed up for. Funny, this is the only box I've ever subscribed to without a coupon. I've liked the boxes so far, though for some reason I felt January was a little light for $15.
Opened box

StrideBox usually comes with 5-6 food products, and 1-2 non-food products. Everything is geared towards health & fitness. This subscription is more geared towards energy & hydration than onther fitness boxes that send a lot of protein powders. I like that.

Included in the box is an info card describing each of the products enclosed.

This month's box included:

  • Picky Real Food Bar
  • Bite Fuel Granola Trail Mix
  • Liquid IV Hydration Multiplier
  • Run Gum Performance Gum
  • Nogii Protein D'lites
  • StrideBox 3M Safety Shoelaces
  • Bonus: Hydration Mixer Ball
Gum & Hydration Multiplier

I like getting the gum! Whenever I go out out for my morning walk/run, I pop in a piece of gum. I'll like trying energy gum. It contains caffeine, taurine, & B-vitamins. Unfortunately, it's only 2 pieces.

The Hydration Multiplier is a drink powder for a 16oz bottle of water. Low in calories, lots of potassium.

Bite Fuel & Picky Bars

The granola is a different flavor.... Banana Apple. Hmmm. Sounds good! It's 1.5oz, got pecans and 10g of protein. It says no GMO, no soy, corn syrup, or preservatives.

Picky Bars is a new one to me. This will go right into my quick food stash for trips to the city. Non-Gmo, 94% organic. The flavor is Ah, Fudge Nuts! 200 cals, 7g protein, 28 carbs, & 3g fiber. It's pretty high in sugar at 19g.

Nogii
The boxes always come with a motivational sticker, or 2 in this case.

The Nogii Protein D'lites is a no gluten bar.I received cookies & cream dream flavored. I'm not sure I'll like this, but it's 9 g protein, so I will try it. It's tiny, but just over an ounce.

Non-food items

This month's non-food item are safety shoe laces made by 3m. They are neon yellow with little reflective diamonds on them. I will probably end up putting these on my shoes. We don't have sidewalks where I live, not a shoulder on the road, so I have to walk/run on the road. Safety is always a concern. Reflective gear is nice.

This month they sent a bonus item not on the card. A Hydration Mixer Ball. You put this into your water bottle or shaker cup to help obliterate chunks and clumps from your favorite smoothie, protein, or recovery mix. Cool.

I receive a lot of health & fitness boxes, but StrideBox is still one of my favorites. It's a month-to-month only, and do not have 3, 6, or 12 month subs. I've only seen them have a coupon once. Wish they had more discount incentives.  I wholeheartedly recommend StrideBox as it's been one of my favorites for months. Try them out!
