We had the pleasure of reviewing a wide variety of Barons Chocolates.
Barons Chocolate is to die for. No really. It's so smooth, and creamy. It tastes.... real. I will never go back to those huge mass-market chocolate company chocolate bars again.I am a dark chocolate lover. Their dark chocolate has just the right amount of sweetness without taking away the deep bitterness you crave while eating a piece of dark chocolate. The dark bars we had were 50% and 70% cocoa.
I honestly had to refrain myself from eating the entire Dark Chocolate & Sea Salt bar in one sitting. I just wanted to et it sit in my mouth & melt. The salt wasn't overpowering and it blended so well with the dark chocolate.
The Milk Chocolate Bars are creamy, with a smooth , rich texture.The Dark Chocolate with Raspberry is exquisitely creamy with little bits of raspberry that just burst on your tongue.
The rest of our review team are milk chocolate fans.
The Chocolate Truffle Eggs [Easter packaging] were a huge hit.The Vanilla Filling, and the Chocolate Filling truffles outshine those well known Easter-time filled Egg chocolates everyone buys this time of year.
The Strawberry Cheesecake filled truffles have a nice spark to them. Very tasty & rich. However, more than one and they seem a bit overwhelming, so these are good one at a time.
Being Easter-time, if you can find these Truffle Eggs near you, you'll want to include these in your Easter baskets!
