Cocomels are deliciously creamy caramels made with coconut milk.

At the time of review, JJ's Sweets has 7 flavors of Cocomels:

• Naked Original
• Naked Sea Salt
• Naked Vanilla
• Naked Espresso
• Chocolate-Covered Sea Salt
• Chocolate-Covered Vanilla
• Chocolate-Covered Espresso

They also have a few Seasonal/Specialty Cocomels.

We had the pleasure of trying the Naked Sea Salt, Vanilla, and Chocolate Covered Esspresso, and Sea Salt.

I just want to tell you that each & every flavor was delicious! They are soft & creamy, but not sticky. They have a hint of coconut flavor since they are made with coconut milk.

Currently, all JJ’s Sweets products, both the Chocolate Covered and Naked Cocomel lines are USDA Certified Organic, and are inherently free of GMOs.Cocomels are also certified kosher by Earth Kosher and Kuf K.

JJ's Sweets use vegan, organic dark chocolate in their Chocolate Covered Cocomels that is between 68 and 72% cocoa. Cocomels are actually made with all vegan ingredients.

Cocomels are good for about 6 months. However, Chocolate Covered and Naked Cocomels can be frozen and defrosted for a longer shelf life.

My favorite Cocomel was the Chocolate Covered Sea Salt. Dark chocolate covering the rich, soft caramel, and topped with just enough salt to enhance the flavors of both the chocolate and the caramel.

JJ’s Sweets was honored with a 2016 Good Food Award in the confections category for the Coconut Palm Sugar variant of its popular coconut milk caramels, Cocomels.  The Coconut Palm Sugar Cocomel was selected among 1,937 entries in a Blind Tasting with 203 judges held in September.

JJ’s Sweets donated close to 250 pounds of its popular coconut milk caramels, Cocomels, to eight orphanages, spanning from California to Kentucky when they repackaged and had a surplus.
