Seven Seas: Purity of Life Teas Review

Tea is the second most consumed drink in the world, surpassed only by water. An often-surprising fact to tea novices is that all teas (Black, Green, Oolong, White, and Pu'erh) come from the same plant.

Seven Seas: Purity of Life was founded and built upon the concepts of love, bravery, dreaming, compassion, caring, kindness, creativity, honesty, and hope.

We were privileged to be able to try a number of Seven Seas Teas.

Seven Seas: Purity of Life offers many loose tea brewing options, but if you still prefer the tea bag option, you can get that too.

Organic Guayusa Energy
The differences between loose leaf tea and traditional tea bags are numerous, and it goes far beyond the surface. The leaves used in most bags are actually the "dust and fannings" from broken tea leaves. This is a huge compromise in quality from full leaf tea. Finely broken tea leaves have lost most of their essential oils and aroma. When steeped, they release more tannins than whole leaf tea, resulting in bitter astringent brews. The material, shape, and size of the bags themselves are also important factors. Most tea bags constrain the tea leaves, keeping them from expanding to their full flavor and aroma potential.

I enjoyed the loose tea from Seven Seas. It was full leaves, bark, mushroom, berries, root, and herbs.

I am a naked tea drinker. Meaning I don't use cream or sugar. For teas with a bitter taste I may add a touch of honey. For tea that is naturally sweet, I might add a splash of lemon just to cut it.

These aren't ordinary plain teas. They are Healing Tisanes. They have been developed and specifically infused with powerful herbs, roots, flowers, and mushrooms from the four corners of the globe, in hopes to create a healthier way toward natural healing. Natural healing has been around for longer than written words.

Seven Seas Detox

One of the teas we tried, which is what I'm sipping on now, is Guayusa Energy. It is a super-leaf found in the Amazonian jungle naturally containing almost as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. Known as “The Night Watchman” by the indigenous Kichwa people who drink it to stay awake, it is packed with polyphenols, 15 amino acids and twice the antioxidants of green tea.

It smells very strong, yet is very light in flavor. Steeped for about 5 minutes, it's quite tasty.

The Seven Seas Detox is a 15-day regimen. I will be honest, I've been eating like crap because of the cold weather, so I haven't tried this yet. I know that the tea will do me no good if I don't cleanse my body in other ways. I plan to start up going back to healthy soon, and when I use this tea, I will write a specific, separate review on it.

"Greased Lightning" (Arthritis/Inflammation) Healing Tea lubricates your body from the inside, and relieve yourself from feeling like the Tin Man. It has earthly flavors with a hint of cinnamon. It's a very aromatic tea. Lots of spice. Even if you usually take cream & sugar in your tea, try this one naked. You won't be sorry. Mmmm... It contains Organic Turmeric, Organic White Willow Bark, Organic Cinnamon, Organic Nigella, Organic Chaga Mushroom, House Blend.

"Bringing Sexy Back" (Female Sex Drive Boost)can possibly stimulate libido, increases satisfaction, intensify orgasms, increase dopamine levels in the brain, have greater sensitivity to erogenous stimulation, correct hormonal balance, reduce stress, anxiety, and depression.

It contains Organic Ashwaghandha, Organic Muira Puama, Organic Cocoa, Organic Yohimbine, Organic Damiana, Organic Tribulus, Organic House Blend. It's got a pungent aroma, but actually tastes airy. This is a good day-time tea.

"Brain AcTEAvator" (Function and Balance) OrganicTea is quite yummy. It pairs well with a sweet cookie.

This is one of their most powerful and healthy tisanes. I honestly feel more focused and my thoughts feel clearer since drinking this.

Tisanes are the non-tea. Herbal teas, which tea experts term Tisanes, are usually dried flowers, fruits or herbs steeped in boiling water (no actual tea leaves are included). Each herb or plant has its own power and specific health benefits, making a tasty cup that is beneficial to health and well-being.

Not only can you purchase Seven Seas Teas in the US, but you can also buy them in the UK, on their UK site.
