Retro Pop Box February 2016 70's Subscription Box Review

Each Retro Pop Box contains 4-7 items, valued at over $45, for a jolt of nostalgia from your favorite decade. Each box spans the decade and touches on iconic events, music, shows, movies, toys, candy and more!

I like Retro Pop Box. It's also set at a good price. The only thing I don't like is the added shipping costs.

Anyway, this box was made for me! Kiss, Nasa, Mr. Bill, and Atari?! *this is my happy face*

February's box included 5 items:
  • Nasa Voyager Exclusive T-Shirt
  • Mr. Bill Bendy Doll
  • Video Game Foam Stress Joystick
  • Kiss Magnet
  • Pop Rocks Candy
Retro Pop Box always includes an info card. It tells a little about the items in the box. The card always has a Mini Print on the back that co coincides to the decade of the box.

Ohhh Nooo Mr. Bill! And Pop Rocks....

Mr. Bill first appeared on SNL in 1975 according to the packaging. I had no idea actually that "Mr. Bill" was still around, doing DVDs, film, and TV. Huh.  This toy is cute. It will go on my toy shelf. You can buy it on Amazon for $9.21.

Pop Rocks. Who doesn't like Pop Rocks?! These are a .33oz pkg. of grape flavor. Pop Rocks first launched in 1975. Retails for under $1.

This "Stress Controller" is reminiscence of that gaming console that started everything. (I didn't say game.... that was Pong).

The Atari 2600. The one I have in my basement. The one I spent many an hours playing, with my friends, and my mom. *ahem*

Anyway, the Stress Controller. Like a stress ball, you can squish it, and squeeze it, and even throw it if you wanted to. Personally, it's going on my shelf. I'm not going to destroy it! If I'm stressed, I'll just have some coffee, or chocolate. Amazon $9.27.

Next is the Kiss Magnet. KISS Yay! Something really cool to put on my fridge.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of this three-cord band. It's the show, man. That's what Kiss is all about. I will admit I have KISS Potato Heads in my living room.

This magnet is an officially licensed Kiss item. Unfortunately the magnet backing keeps peeling off. This has no effect on my opinion of Retro Pop Box. It's not their fault. It's a licensed item. C&D Visionary, you need to up your product game! Available on Amazon for $5.99

The T-shirt this month is an exclusive design. It's of the NASA Voyager.

Voyager was launched in 1977 to explore Jupiter, Saturn, & Titan (Saturn's largest moon).

This is an exclusive design, and I can't get a price. Unless this is a  $15 value, February's box doesn't hit it's $40 promise.

Overall, if you are a fan of Retro, and if you miss the old days of your childhood, this box is great! The items are not only cool, but they trigger memories you had long forgotten.

They do have one for the 60's, one for the 80's, and now one for the 90's! I've recentlt leared that you can now switch your decade between months as long as you do it by the 10th!

So, take your pick, and order a subscription. You won't be disappointed!

I don't have a current coupon, but as soon as I get one, I'll post it!
