Here at Deer Tales / House-Wise, we rescue chicks, geese, & ducklings that people have abandoned once they realize that these pets are messy, a lot of work, and don't stay cute & fuzzy forever. This is very stressful on the animals. Many shelters either don't accept them, or don't adopt them out & just euthanize them. We rescue what we can from the local wildlife center.
If you cannot make a life-long commitment to these pets (which could-be up to 16 years), please stick to candy eggs, STUFFED animals, and religious ceremonies on Easter. Thank you.
