Happy March!

This is our first look at Purr Packs,and we love it!

Purr Packs have 3 different subscriptions:

• Teaser Pack $24.99 (5-7 items) for 1-2 cats
• Fun & Love Pack $29.99 (7-9 items) for 1-2 cats
• Multi-Pack Mega Pack $39.99 (9+ items) for 2+ cats

I know this is probably odd, but I love the outside of  the box. The cute graphics make it exciting to open.

March's box came with 8 items:

When we first opened the box, we were very impressed with the presentation. It looked so 'pretty' for lack of a better term. It was packed with tons of green paper crimps. It was like opening a gift.

Did ya see the picture of Oscar? The cats sure like playing in the box. He removed all the paper to lay in it.

Purr-Packs specializes in discovering and sharing new and innovative products for their customers.

Purr Packs comes with an info card. It describes a bit about each item inclosed.

The first item is the cat scratcher with bonus catnip.

These are 30-day scratchers, and it sounds like they send one in your box each month. I don't know, I couldn't find it on their website anywhere. If they do, that is an awesome thing! All 4 cats love this. Emmy rolls all over it, Oscar & Prince scratch it throughout the day, and when Squeaks was well, he'd scratch his non-existent claws on it. I recently was at the pet store & saw these for $10-$15.

For their customers, Purr-Packs encourages and supports cat adoption programs both locally and nation-wide. To that end, 10% of their retail subscription profits go to support these programs. You can feel good that a gift for your own cats is also a gift for those less fortunate.

Purrz

Next item is Natural Purrz soft treats for cats.

These are tender chicken recipe. They are real chicken, cranberry, rice & barley. This is a 3oz bag, and it's made by Zukes. This is a local Colorado company! This retails for just under $3.

I have to say though, that none of my cats liked them. They are a little apprehensive to new treats, so it may just take some time. My dog however didn't mind the cats leaving them on the floor.

Furry Fury & Lattice Ball

The Twinkle Mini Ball of Furry Fury was a win with the cats.

The toy inside lights up and has an enticing mouse sound. The toy also contains catnip. This is made by Our Pets. This retails for $5.99.

I believe the Lattice Ball from Zanies Cat Toys is a bonus since it's not on the info card. Occasionally Purr Packs will throw in little extra bonuses in their boxes.

Also included was a second bag of treats. Meowjito from Omega Paw.

This is a 3oz bag of soft & moist treats. These are made in the USA. They are 1.8 calories per treat, and formulated with white fish & speckled with mint leaves. Omega Paw is a Canadian company.

Oscar with the Furry Fury

All Purr-Pack subscription boxes ship on the 1st of each month. If you ordered a one time Gift Pack, those ship the same or next business day.

Oscar is sitting here while I write this and asked why I haven't posted another photo of him. So here he is playing with the Furry Fury toy.

Laser Fun

The next item which was also a win is the Prestages Laser Fun.

You press the face on the face, and this laser toy will encourage your cat to chase & stalk.

My daughter, the cats, and the dogs have had lots of fun playing with this toy. It retails for about $8.

My favorite toy in the box is the Zanies Critter. It's so cute! Reminds me of a Chuzzle. It's a game I love. And it's purple!

I don't know. I might have to put this toy on a high shelf.... with my other collectible toys. You know, just for umm... safe keeping.

Big Ol Catnip Sack

The boys keep trying to sneak this catnip bag out of the box.

It's sitting in my lap right now, and it is strong! This is another item made my Our Pets. The cats will enjoy this one for a while.

Subscriptions can be canceled, paused or resumed at any time without penalty.


The last item is the Multipet Loofa Cat Kicker Toy. Multipet is the brand name.

Prince loves to hug & bunny-kick these kinds of toys. It's entertaining to watch him play with them as well. This is also made with a crinkle material & catnip.

Overall, us humans, & our feline companions loved this box. It was filled to the brim with a great assortment of items. They loved everything but the Purrz treats, and I think that's a win for a mystery subscription box. The value of the Fun & Love Pack is between $39-$45 which exceeds the cost of the box. If you're in the market for a cat subscription box, with the inclusion of the scaratcher, Purr Packs would be a great one to try!
