The Hippie Hobby March 2016 Subscription Box Review & Exclusive Coupon

I love Hippie Hobby. Hippie Hobby sends you a craft (plus a bonus craft), using recycled, upcycled, & reusable supplies every 2 months for only $24, including shipping! They include everything you need except common household items, such as scissors, a pencil, or a microwave safe container.

March/April's craft is DIY Book Page Gem Magnets.

It's funny to receive this because my daughter's friends had just made her some magnets & she wanted to make some more. Good timing!

The kit includes:
  • 8 lg Glass Gems
  • 8 Magnets
  • Mod Podge
  • Old book pages to be reused
  • Foam Brush
  • Super Glue
Not included, but needed are scissors and a pen or pencil.

We haven't had time to do this craft yet. But looking over the supplies & instructions, I can tell that my daughter, who is twelve, will easily be able to do this project (I've done this before). The instructions are very clear, and there are pictures to follow.

She's excited to do these!

Hippie Hobby always incloses a Bonus Craft. Even though I know it will be there, it's always a nice "extra", and feels like you're getting more for your money.

This shipment, it's Book Page Cup Cake Toppers.

The kit includes:
  • Toothpicks
  • Mod Podge (from the previous project)
  • Book Pages (again fro the previous project)
  • Glitter (optional)
The items not included are scissors & tape.

What I like about the bonus craft, is it uses items from the main craft. I like getting extra use out of the contents! It's also a cute craft.

Again, this is an easy craft, but not childish. There are instructions with photos.

You can tag your finished project photos on Instagram & Facebook, and they will pick a few to repost.

The Hippie Hobby also has a facebook page where they share other interesting projects, as well as a blog. You'll never run out of projects!

They work hard to curate these boxes, and are doing a great job. Their customer service is also one of the best I have dealt with.

This is an inexpensive way every couple months to sit, relax, and do a craft project without having to worry about gathering materials, or running to the store for supplies. Everything is packed for you with instructions, and what the finished project should look like. The projects aren't too difficult, but aren't too simple either, making them perfect for a wide age span.

As soon as the project is completed, I'll upload the project review.
