Love with Food March 2016 Tasting Box Review & Coupons

After many, many months, we still love Love with Food! Such a nice [mostly] healthy variety every month. We subscribe to the Tasting Box, which is their smaller box.

March's 'Love is Real' box had 8 items:
  • Fruit Snacks
  • Pork Clouds
  • Lemon Wafer Bites
  • Naan Crisps
  • Almond Roca
  • Strawberry Fig Bar
  • Pitted Greek Olive Mix
  • Peppermint Saltwater Taffy
Also included were some coupons.

The info pamphlet included is one of the more informative ones in subscription boxes. It lists the items, ingredients, dietary specialty, and social media links. Coupons, specials, sweepstakes, Twitter parties, and other info are often included on the half-sheet  pamphlet.

The first two items are fruit snacks & naan crisps.

Horizon products are great! These are organic fruit snacks. Bunch O' Berries. They are free of artificial colors & preservatives. And they're local Colorado!

StoneFire Naan Crisps disappeared a lot quicker than I planned. They were that good. They are fire-baked, and quite crunchy. They have no artificial preservatives, and 0g trans fat. Yep, I'll need more of these.

I just love Dolcetto wafers. And lemon is my favorite. I had to hide these from myself just so I'd have them later.

They are only 100 calories, light & crisp with lemony filling. Dang, now I'm gonna eat them.

Next is Nature's Bakery Fig Bar. I haven't tried this yet, but in all honesty, I didn't like their brownie I tried the other day. Tasted like health food from a decade ago. This is Strawberry, and made with stone ground whole wheat. I'll put this in my 'bar' stash for later.

Neither of these I'm gonna eat. Maybe Mr. SnuggleBunny will.

The pitted green olives with herbs are from Olympos. It's a hefty package at just over an ounce. These olives are imported from Greece.

The Pork Clouds are fried pork skins. I like bacon like any overweight American, but not pork skins. I remember my dad eating them. They were so greasy. This is a healthier version. Skin, salt, olive oil, and rosemary. They're light & crispy and only have 100 calories.

The Almond Roca was the first item to get eaten in this box. I LOVE Almond Roca. It is reminiscent of the English Toffee I used to splurge on for $15lb at the chocolatier at the mall once in a blue moon. Mmmm. Thank you Love with Food.

The last items in the box are Peppermint Salt Taffy by Salty Road. I'm not a big salt water taffy fan, but I do like peppermint, so I'll give one of these to my daughter, and try one myself.

Once again, I love the box. Even though I wont eat everything, nor like everything in the box, its still fun to get in the mail. There is such a great variety, and there are so many brands i never would have tried if not for this box!
